Comparing the opposition alliance’s protest to ‘Lord Shiva’s wedding procession’ and ‘Lord Shiva’s Tandav’ (cosmic dance), Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi stated, “This is Shiva’s Tandav; there is no specific planning involved. The opposition’s protest is like Shiva’s wedding procession—anyone can join it.” A massive march to the Supreme Court in New Delhi has been organized by opposition forces under the leadership of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and leaders of the INDIA alliance. During this protest, opposition leaders launched scathing attacks on the government regarding its policies, the electoral process, and various other issues.
Meanwhile, sharp reactions have emerged in political circles following this statement by Rahul Gandhi.
